1. Basin Bistro
What: A light-and-bright breakfast-and-lunch spot in the Evia neighborhood from the owner of The Spot.
Vibe & Menu: Think acai bowls, chia-seed puddings, Tres Leches pancakes, and Korean cauliflower alongside crab empanadas and truffle fries. Indoor seating for 40 plus lakeside outdoor tables makes it a breezy daytime retreat.
When & Where: Open now at 13 Evia Main; daily 8 AM–4 PM (Fri–Sun until 7 PM).
2. Local Dogs
What: A family-friendly hot-dog stand in a converted gas station.
Vibe & Menu: Expect gourmet franks, loaded tots, snow cones and light bites in a casual, colorful setting. Perfect for a quick bite or a beach-bound snack.
When & Where: Coming soon to 1325 39th St.
3. McNeal’s Tavern and Eatery
What: An Irish-meets-Texas pub perched on the Seawall in the old Pit Stop Building.
Vibe & Menu: Not your typical Irish pub—McNeal’s serves a full breakfast/brunch menu (think traditional fry-ups, scotch eggs, poutine) alongside a robust beer list and ocean views.
When & Where: Opening date announcement imminent for 6612 Seawall Blvd.
4. The Fancy
What: Upscale New American dining inside Hotel Lucine.
Vibe & Menu: Understated elegance with dishes like roasted chicken, pork ragu and a standout wine program. Guests praise the atmosphere, service, and upstairs patio lounge.
When & Where: 1002 Seawall Blvd, open 11 AM–10 PM daily.
